For my Family

My Dad, Norm Schaible. He was a heart attack, stroke and heart bypass survivor. He stood up to heart disease for decades but lost his battle with cancer in April. I miss him so much.

My sister, Carrie Coash. She is a heart attack and bypass survivor too! This Fall marks 16 years since a massive heart attack nearly took her life at the age of 40.

My uncle, Bob Schaible. He received a heart transplant nearly 20 years ago and is still alive and thriving.

My Step-Dad, Jim Mlodzik. He is my newest reason why. Chest pains sent him to the emergency room just a few weeks ago. Turns out he had some pretty serious blockages but after receiving four stents, he is back on his feet and doing well.

My children, Cade and Kaia. Heart disease has a pretty strong genetic component and I want them to be very aware of our family heart history so they can make healthy choices, exercise and live long, strong lives.

For more than a decade, I have been fundraising and emceeing the Tampa Bay Heart Walk and every year it gets bigger and better!

There will be one and three mile routes, plus food and festivities as we support the fight against heart disease and stroke.

Fuccillo Kia has graciously agreed to match the first $50,000 I raise.
